We’ve been working hard for the past year getting Burble to where it is today. Now before I say anymore, I don’t think I’ve been very fair with showing our game off. So I’ve decided to share some screenshots of what to expect!

If you aren’t familiar with Burble, then let me give you a quick rundown of the facts.

Virtual pet game

Burble is your personal pet that will help plants grow when you take care of him/her

You and Burble can plant real plants in real parts of the world

Now that you are up to speed, here’s a little sneak peek of our game. Enjoy!

Watering your plant

World map view

Burble in the garden

And last but not least, my favorite Burble

Sarfie is pleased to announce our partnership with Trees for the Future. We will be working with this great organization to promote our environmental sustainability efforts. To give a little background, Trees for the Future is a non-profit organization dedicated to planting trees in communities and villages around the world. Through Trees for the Future, we will be able to design Project Burble to allow users to plant trees in places such as Africa, Asia, Latin America, and even USA. A full list of current locations can be found here. We are very excited to work with Trees for the Future and can’t wait to see how many trees we can plant!

Grassy Background?

What’s with the grassy background? Project Burble is what’s with the grassy background! But before I get ahead of myself, let me introduce our project. Project Burble is our attempt to contribute to environmental sustainability efforts. With that said, our project has two goals: One, to raise awareness about environmental issues. And, two, to battle deforestation. The mesh of these goals will come in the form of a fun little game for your mobile device; more specifically your iPhone or new Windows 7 Phone.

So, “why a game?” might you ask. “Why not a game!?” I might say! Excuse my enthusiasm, but with all seriousness, we chose a game because our team realizes the potential that games bring in the realm of “getting things done.” That notion of “getting things done” is exactly what we need to drive this sustainability effort. Before you know it, we’ll have achieved Project Burble’s goals while having a bucket of fun, more or less.

That’s basically the gist of it! Details about our game will be released on our blog in the coming months. We are shooting to make the world a greener place with the release of this exciting application. Stay tuned!

Complete with a brief storyboard and a generalized transition network. We have been working hard with all the deliverables. Good job team!
